What a gorgeous weekend we had! It snowed most of Saturday and all day Sunday, delivering about 10 inches of powdery whiteness. I spent a few hours walking around my neighborhood of Lake Anne, taking in the scenery and trying not to get my camera too wet.

On Monday, the sun came out, and I did it all over again, this time with clear blue skies and sparkling snow.

On Monday evening I had a meeting in historic Fairfax, so I took that opportunity to take a couple night photos of that beautiful area, too.

I’m not a fan of cold, but I love a beautiful snowstorm! If we have to have winter, then I want snow like this. Bring it on.
