The weather has been perfect for this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival! It has been springtime bliss around here. On Saturday I headed to DC to take in the sights of the Blossom Kite Festival, where hundreds of people fly kites on the grounds of the Washington Monument and the National Mall. The spectacle of a blue sky full of kites is one that I couldn’t quite capture sufficiently with my camera, but I gave it my best shot.
