Last weekend I photographed an adorable little boy in one of his happiest places — his home! At-home portrait sessions are some of my favorites, because I always want a portrait location to tell part of the story of the photos I take. I want families to look back on their portraits years from now, and have happy memories of the place where they were taken. And there is no more memorable location for any family than their own home.
I met with little Noah and his parents and dog at their Reston home. We played in the backyard and tossed a frisbee for their dog, Morgan. Then when everyone was ready for a rest (and air-conditioning!), we headed inside for some cuddly mother-son and dog-brother photos on the couch.
Thanks, Bonnie and Brian, for asking me to photograph your family! I hope Noah will look back on these photos when he’s all grown up and remember his happy times at his childhood home.
Would you like me to photograph your family, too? I’d love to arrange a family portrait session or documentary family session with you. Take a peek at my galleries and then contact me to chat all about it.
