How fun! The September issue of Northern Virginia Magazine is featuring the Reston Multicultural Festival in their SuperNoVA column, and they published my photo and interviewed me for the article. The reporter asked me about the festival, why I love it, and the approach I took to photographing it last year.  You can read the article online HERE.

The photo they chose for the article is of KanKouran West African Dance Company performing at last year’s festival. I photographed the festival for Reston Community Center, and it is always one of my favorite events of the year.

Check out the article, and then block off September 28, 2019 for this year’s festival. I’ll be there! Big thanks to writer Katie Bianco for helping to spread the word.
