Halfway up Lehman ski trail
      Breckenridge, CO
      June 28, 2008

Yesterday Mike and I shot a wedding at Breckenridge’s Ten Mile Station. It was fun for us to be there, because Breck is our favorite ski resort. We know those ski runs so well that it was bizarre to see them without snow! I found a leftover snow pile and had to climb on it on this lovely, 70-degree summer day.

      If you’re a chunky monkey, I’m a gorilla!

You’re a mindreader – I love Washington state, and can’t wait to visit California for the first time later this month. There’s something so peaceful, yet powerful, about the Rockies, though, so a trip back to Colorado is definitely in order!

You’re very welcome! That’s really nice of you to say. 🙂

      I bet!
Thanks for sharing your work, you and yours are quite the inspiraiton for so many. 🙂

It’s funny how many little piles of snow are holding on!

lol! There are still some crazy snowboarders out there riding the remains of the season. As for me, I’ll gladly keep this warm weather, thankyouverymuch!

Thanks! Nah, I’m still a chunky monkey, but I guess the black clothes help. 😉

Mike has a hard time living away from the beach, so I know what you mean. I think I’m a mountain girl all the way. Maybe the northwest US would be a good spot for you… not too far from ocean and mountains. Just a thought!

I was carrying two cameras and a bag with three additional lenses. My shoulders are tired at the end of each night!

      Love the mountains behind you.
Haha I bet that snow melted that day, or started to.

      Charlotte,

I see a bit of snow on the trails behind you. Winter was terrible here……I’d kill to crack out my ‘end of season board’ and ride a 3ft pile of snow right now!

This is an incredibly flattering picture of you. Have you lost weight?

Every time you post a picture, I remember why I love Colorado. I keep flip-flopping… one day I think I’m a beach girl, the next, a mountain girl.
