Lake Anne is filled with glorious rainbows! The second annual Reston Pride festival took place over the weekend, and this year it was hosted by Lake Anne Plaza for the first time. The Plaza was an ideal location for it.
I wasn’t able to photograph the event, because it took place on the same day as my parents’ 50th anniversary celebration (Mom and Dad, you guys are the greatest!) I did get to visit the festival briefly on Saturday, and it was a joyous and inspiring celebration that made me proud to live in this neighborhood.
The following day, I strolled around the Plaza and took a couple pictures of all the rainbow decorations. I wish it could look like this all year!
This final photo is my family cruising our boat into the Plaza on Saturday night, awestruck by the gorgeous rainbow decorations. I love this neighborhood and its people, and I’m proud to call it home.
