To me, there is nothing more peaceful than standing in a beautiful spot with my camera and tripod during a long exposure. I click the camera on for a 20- or 30-second exposure, then I look around and take in the whole scene while the camera does the same. It’s almost meditative for me. I barely even feel the cold during times like this.

      I took evening strolls at Lake Anne Plaza a couple evenings this month to photograph the Christmas lights, and I hope you enjoy the results as much as I enjoyed the moments. Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.
