This morning I was excited to be the guest speaker for the Reston MOMS Club. They asked me to talk for an hour about family photos for parents of any photo skill level. I put together a presentation called “How to Take Great Family Photos No Matter What Camera You Use,” and it was a big hit. I talked about concepts of lighting, composition, and posing that are relevant whether you shoot with a DSLR, camera phone, or anything else.
I love to teach! I have a masters degree in Instructional Technology and 17 years as a photographer, so I have to say that I’m quite good at it, too. If you’d like for me to give a presentation to your group or club, or if you’d like one-on-one photography lessons, please check out my PHOTO EDUCATION services. And then CONTACT ME, because I’d love to hear what you’re working on.
