Marx and Sarah
      Mile High Station, Denver
      April 19, 2008

Sarah and Marx got married Saturday at Mile High Station, a sleek and stylish converted steel mill. We met Sarah and Marx through our friends Teddi and Keith, who are close friends of theirs and also wedding photographers. I knew that friends of Teddi and Keith would be a lot of fun! Sarah and Marx were laid-back and up for anything. We had a fantastic portrait shoot under an interstate overpass!

Congratulations, Sarah and Marx! I hope you’re having a wonderful time in Belize!

      Gimme five!

Layla was an adorable flower girl!

Sarah’s nephew was the little ring bearer.

      Sarah looked gorgeous!

Look at this photo and the one above it. Mike took them at about the same time, with two very different lenses!

      Are we married yet?

      Yes!!

After the ceremony, Sarah and Marx had a private moment together upstairs.

      The newlyweds

We took these photos under the interstate overpass. I loved the lines overhead and the soft light creeping in.

      First dance

This was adorable. She got down on her knees to dance at his level, but he thought he was supposed to dance on his knees, too.

      Marx had some moves!

This is one of my favorites.

I like this photo of Teddi and her new baby, Lyric. You might remember her from the pictures of her baby shower a couple months ago.

      What a handsome couple!

      Nice!

I love the first shot of them kissing by the columns. Wow! That’s the million dollar shot – and I’m sure they love it. Beautiful wedding…

      Re: Fisheye

Thanks! I use the Canon 15mm f2.8 fisheye, and I’ve been really happy with it. It’s especially great on a full-frame camera like the 5D.

Lovely pictures as usual. I love the twisted-willow centerpieces.

My favorites have to be the close-up shot of Marx embracing Sarah about the waist, and Kayla– that last photograph is so spontaneous, and the other one so intimate.

      The location is really lovely.

      Fisheye

Beautiful photos as always, Charlotte– quick question. Which lens do you use for your fisheye?
