Wedding album of Jessica and Scott
Here’s another album that I designed recently. It’s from Jessica and Scott’s Cinco de Mayo wedding in Maryland last spring. They chose the photos for the album, which will be a 12″x12″, 40-page, flushmount album. They also ordered two versions of the album in 8″x8″ sizes for their parents.
Your photos are absolutely amazing. I’m getting married in August, and I’m probably not the typical bride. My goal: keep the total tab for the wedding (dress, venue, music, food, booze, photography… everything included) under $3,000. It’s after looking at amazing photos, like the ones you take make me sort of sad that I won’t have that caliber of photography on our “special day”.
It also makes me ache for a decent camera so I could start trying my hand moreso than I can now. I’ve always loved photography, but never really had the access to good equipment. To me, the amazing and beautiful feature of any photograph is the emotions contained within.

Oh believe me I know it is. I’ve been engaged before and I know first hand the pain of calling off a wedding because you realize the person you were with was not who you thought they were, but I don’t want to get too much into detail. I’m sure you get this question a lot: do you mind if I add you as a friend on my journal? I love seeing that you have new work up. It always makes me a little giddy. 🙂

I suppose I’ll take this coincidence as a sign. 🙂 I just love your work so much. I think if my Scott ever does decide to propose (and we have seriously discussed it) my dream would be to have you as our photographer, because I’m convinced if anyone could get my camera-phobic boy to open up to the lens, you could. But as we both live, work, and play in Toledo, Ohio, I think that shall forever remain a ‘if I could have the PERFECT wedding I would…’ dream.
Will always be a fan though. You are beyond awesome, and made of so much win. 😀

These are lovely. I’d seen these before, but I especially love the last picture and the two pictures of them cuddling.
The only thing I would say that I don’t like – and I think this is because I’m a little obsessive about this kind of thing – is the two pages where there’s one picture and a smaller picture sort of on top of it (the page with the pictures of the groom and the page with them cuddling). I want my pages to be in nice, straight lines – but, like I said, that might just be my weird thing.
Well definitely take your time choosing the spouse. 🙂

I’m getting married in March and I really wanted to try and get you, but it was a bit too far. 🙁 Thankfully we found a lady that my fiancee (who is an avid photog) and I are both comfortable with.
I really like your family shots as well. They are bursting with life!
