“Look, it’s so pretty! It’s all so pretty.”
— Leo, age 4
It takes a special heart and and observant mind to see beauty all around you. Little Leo was wide-eyed and full of wonder as he showed me around a park and forest near his house. He reached into the stream and excitedly pulled out a dinosaur egg (some might call it a rock, but he knows the truth.)
Over the next year I will be featuring young nature lovers and sharing their thoughts on some of their favorite places. Stay tuned to see the world through their eyes.
If you know a nature lover aged 2-17 in the Reston, Virginia area who would be a good choice for this project, please CONTACT ME. I’d love to hear about your little explorer.
