I rave about most of the events I photograph, but this one is particularly special to me. Every year I can’t believe the immense talent that comes to our community in this annual celebration of diversity. The Reston Multicultural Festival is an all-day series of concerts, dance performances, food, crafts, costumes, and art from around the world. I’m continually proud of Reston’s cultural inclusivity, and this festival is a fantastic celebration of that spirit.

I photographed this year’s festival for Reston Community Center, and I’m really pleased with the photos. I love all the stories you can find in the people at this festival.
