Lake Anne is fun all year round, but it’s arguably best in the summertime. After all, lake life is pretty ideal in the warm months, and Lake Anne is particularly fun when the Plaza is filled with flowers, boats, pedestrians, and outdoor dining. That’s why I loved being able to photograph this gorgeous couple on a lively summer evening at the lake.
Lisa and Matthew live in Reston and have been married for four years. They told me that they haven’t had professional photos taken of them since their wedding and engagement portraits, but time has passed and they look different these days. It’s time for an update! I absolutely agree that everyone should have gorgeous photos taken fairly regularly, to show their changes over time.
I was so happy to hear that Lisa has been reading my blog for years! She followed me back when I lived in Colorado, and now by coincidence, we live near each other and I can finally photograph her and Matthew.
