Brian and Sarah
      Omni Interlocken Resort
      Broomfield, Colorado
      June 9, 2007

Congratulations to Sarah and Brian! They were married Saturday in an outdoor ceremony at the Omni in Broomfield. The weather was beautiful that day, and the Omni’s open-air reception hall made the most of the perfect June evening. Sarah is a teacher, and she is such a natural with kids. One of my highlights of the day was watching her interact with her nieces and nephew. Mike got some great photos of these adorable little ones.

Sarah was the maid of honor in Kim and Ken’s wedding, which we photographed last year. Sarah loved our photos from that wedding, and asked us to photograph hers as well. It was great to see her and Brian again, as well as Kim and Ken. Thanks for the referral, guys!

We started out the day at a salon with Sarah and her bridesmaids and mother.

      A close-up of Sarah’s tiara

Sarah’s reaction when her florist delivered her flowers. They were gorgeous!

Meanwhile Brian and the guys were hanging out in the hotel bar downstairs.

I like how all the lines in this photo point to Brian.

      A hug from her mom.

Mike caught this wonderful moment when Sarah’s niece ran up to hug her.

During this sweet moment between Sarah and her mom, they had no idea that Sarah’s niece was holding the train.
When she was done holding the train, she handed it to her daddy to do it. Adorable.

A supportive handshake from Brian’s best man at the start of the ceremony.

Brian’s reaction to seeing his bride

Sarah’s niece claimed a front-row spot to watch them light the unity candle.

After the ceremony and family portraits, Sarah, Brian, Mike, and I explored the grounds by golf cart.

Brian revealed the long-awaited Magnum. He’s ridiculously good-looking.

I absolutely loved their cake. Their wedding colors were the same as ours!

Here’s Kim, the matron of honor, with her husband, Ken. They have a baby now! It was fantastic to meet her.
You might remember their wedding photos from May, 2006: HERE, HERE, and HERE

Sarah and Brian left the reception through an archway of sparklers…

… but then the groomsmen kidnapped Brian and ran to the pool!

      Re: Love this!

Hi Angie! It’s great to hear from you! I’ll be in touch with some pictures for you. I hope to work with you again soon!

      Love this!

Hi Charlotte – It’s Angie from Sapphire Celebrations.

I am so glad that you mentioned you had a blog! I love this quick glimpse at Sarah and Brian’s wedding. I can’t wait to see all the others.

It was wonderful to work with you and I hope that we can work together again soon!

Yeah, it’s the craziness of the idea that makes these photos so dramatic. They aren’t for everybody, but if they were, they wouldn’t be so cool. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think the pics are beautiful—but I think you can come up with something even more breathtaking ๐Ÿ˜€

It is a cool idea…but man I must be a major sentimental gal cause I couldn’t bear trashing my wedding outfit and it wasn’t even an expensive dress!

I can’t wait to see what you come up with in your dress trash!!! I bet it’ll be super creative!

Oh I have that site bookmarked already! Aren’t those photographs beautiful? One of my brides has already asked me to do a trash the dress session with her this summer, and I can’t wait!

Re: wow, WOW and double WOW!

Oh wow, hi Amy!! It’s wonderful to hear from you! I am thrilled that you have blogs, too. I’ll be reading!

Thanks so much for offering to recommend us to your brother-in-law. We’d love the referral!

I was! I was lying flat on my face at the end of the aisle. It’s not a pretty look for me, but I couldn’t resist the flower petals!

      wow, WOW and double WOW!

Charlotte! It’s Amy Hughes (Webb). I linked to your site from Jen Aker’s blog. Your pictures are all ABSOLUTELY amazing. My hubby just bought me a Nikon D40 and I’m ecstatic with what it does at the automatic settings – I love getting close up face shots. But now I see I have A LOT to learn about manual settings for optimal shots. Seriously, I am so impressed with your talent! My brother in law is getting married in Denver in December and I’m going to give his fiancee your info – I want them to have awesome pictures like these. And then I would get to see you!

Here’s my blogs (one for me and one for Alison) http://www.mommyandbeyond.blogspot.com

SO glad to see you are doing well.

      Such amazing photographs!
You and Mike capture the great moments.

every time you post a wedding you’ve photographed it makes me wish the Judd and I could get married again just to have you there!!!

The pic of the Brian and his ‘men’ reminds me of Resevoir Dogs!

      Amazing photos, as always.

… and Magnum! I freaking love it!

It feels silly to cry over someone else’s wedding, a perfect stranger, but you’ve done that with your photos. I love it how you seemed to be everywhere where needed at the right time!!

This is one of my favorites. ๐Ÿ™‚

wow I like the motif of the wedding and the gowns of the bride and the other girls in the wedding ๐Ÿ™‚
As usual Charlotte you captured the best parts of the wedding!
      Nice pics! ๐Ÿ™‚

Another fantastic set. Were you doing an army crawl on #19? ๐Ÿ™‚

OMG, Charlotte, you made me cry AGAIN!!!!
Awesome photographs! And OMG to throwing the groom in the pool. Great capture!
