Last week I met with Jennifer and Mike, who are expecting their first child later this month. They are radiant with joy and excitement, and it was such fun to photograph them during this special time in their lives.
We wandered around one of my favorite locations, Lake Anne Plaza, on a gorgeous but hot July evening. That area is special to them because they live near Lake Anne and spend a lot of time there. I always prefer to photograph people in locations that are meaningful to them and tell a genuine story about their lives, and I think Lake Anne was a perfect choice for Jennifer and Mike. Someday soon they will be wandering the same paths with their sweet baby in their arms.
Congratulations, Jennifer and Mike! I wish you and your baby the greatest health and happiness.
