Jenny and Mark
Washington, DC
September 16, 2006
Mark and Mike have been friends for years, ever since they both lived in the DC area. It was great to be able to photograph Mark’s wedding on Saturday! He and Jenny got married at the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine in Washington, DC, and then celebrated at the home of Mark’s colleague in Bethesda, Maryland.
We got so many great photos that I am having trouble narrowing them down for my blog! I’ll put them in two posts.
Mark and Jenny, I hope you are having an amazing time on your honeymoon adventure in Jordan!
We started the day at a salon with Jenny and the ladies.
I love this one of Jenny’s mom trying to watch without getting in the way.
I think Jenny looks a bit like Katie Holmes in most of these pictures,
but in this one, she reminds me of Angelina Jolie.
Meanwhile, Mark got ready with his dad and Jenny’s dad.
In accordance with Ukrainian tradition, Mark and Jenny met each
other at the church doors, and walked down the aisle together.
Greeting her dad, right after the ceremony.
I love that photo of the fathers. Mike has such a creative–and masculine–way of viewing weddings.
Yes, I believe so. They were beautiful and fragrant.
Gorgeous photos, as usual! How do you do it?
These are beautiful…I love the reflection pool! 🙂
amazing!
They are gorgeous together. They are both so elegant looking. I love the reflection pictures.
My favorite picture is of the father’s. I think on a wedding day, you think about how important your father is to you.
great pictures as always!
are those wreaths also part of ukranian tradition?
beautiful!!
