My good friend Heather has a new baby! Heather and I have been close friends since high school — this year marks our 20th year of friendship, yikes! She and her husband Scott are thrilled that their first child has arrived, and it was wonderful for me to meet her on my trip to Virginia. She is gorgeous!

You might remember the maternity photos I took of Heather and Scott in June. Now their baby is three months old!

I spent Halloween with Heather and Eve and their neighbors. Eve was a goldfish for Halloween. Flat out adorable.

I love this one. 🙂

Poor Pongo has been the center of their attention for years, and now he has to play second fiddle.

Poor doggie has no one to play with.

Hokie the cat is trying to adjust to the new rules of where he’s not allowed to sleep.

Isn’t that always the truth when it comes to families who have pets before they have children? It certainly was with Wolfie, my boyfriend’s sister’s dog. But, Wolfie took it like a man (besides, they kept getting him new toys).
