Me at the start of my third trimester
October, 2010
It’s been a big year for me! I’ve been so busy with work this year that I haven’t had a chance to blog much about my pregnancy, so I thought that it’s time for me to remedy that. In my June blog post about our big announcement, you saw my collection of photos from my first trimester. Now that I’m almost 29 weeks along, I thought I’d share photos from my second trimester. It was a busy summer for baby and me!
14 weeks: In early July, my stomach was still small enough for me to roll around on the ground for cool perspectives! (OK, I confess… I still roll around on the ground while shooting. I just do it much more awkwardly these days.)
17 weeks: In late July, I photographed two weddings at Timber Ridge in one weekend. My stomach was just starting to poke out.
Timber Ridge is located at an altitude of 11,444 feet. I was impressed with myself for that double-header, high-altitude weekend!
At the end of that weekend, the caterers took pity on me for working so hard that I didn’t even stop for cake. So they gave the tired, pregnant girl an entire tier of leftover chocolate cake with Reese’s peanut butter cups. I carried it all the way down the mountain that night, and took it with me to breakfast the next morning so it wouldn’t melt in the car. My little treasure.
18 weeks: My all-consuming morning sickness finally lightened enough for our fifth anniversary trip to Costa Rica.
At our resort in Costa Rica.
It’s funny that I thought I was huge then.
19 weeks: It’s a BOY! Definite boy bits here.
Our little munchkin was smiling for the camera!
His little, round belly helped me understand why I had such a big, round belly.
22 weeks: Shooting a wedding in Avon, CO.
23 weeks: Shooting a wedding in Keystone, CO.
26 weeks: Shooting a wedding in Breckenridge, CO.
This little baby spent lots of time at weddings this year!
26 weeks is probably when I felt the best this whole journey. This was a great day.
27 weeks: See? I told you that I still roll around on the ground while shooting. 🙂
27 weeks: At our resort in Orlando. It was nice to have a day off to prop up these tired feet by the pool!
This weekend I’m 29 weeks along, and the doctor says that everything is going beautifully. Our baby an active little guy who likes to kick his mom, but somehow sleeps through wedding receptions. I’m due somewhere between December 28-January 3. I can’t believe how quickly that is coming up!
Am I the only one who can’t see the pictures?? 🙁
You look great! I can’t believe you’re already in your third trimester! Then again, i can’t believe my guy is already 10 weeks old. 😛

You are photographer of the year for me:)
The one ultrasound it looks like the baby is already posing! (Unless I’m reading it wrong, which isn’t unusual for me)
You look adorable! 😀

Awww. So glad my wedding has been included in this list! I can verify that you were indeed still rolling on the ground at 27 weeks! =)
