Emily and Andrew
Downtown Denver
March 29, 2010
Andrew and Emily are getting married in September the mountains of Colorado near where Andrew grew up. Because their wedding photos will feature the mountains, they wanted their engagement portraits to reflect their urban lifestyle. We met in Lower Downtown Denver and spent a couple hours walking around and enjoying all the fun architecture and dramatic sunlight. Thanks for being up for anything, Emily and Andrew! I look forward to your wedding!
Those are amazing. I love the storm clouds, and the rail road track set totally made me laugh out loud.
amazing photos!!!
Two beautiful people captured as one …. settings enhance, but the focus remains true … wonderful.
amazing photos!!!
Thank you!
Thank you!
Those are some beautiful shots there. Good to see that you kept the original tones. Evening shots look very nice.
The night photos varied — some of them were entirely ambient light, some used a video light, and some used fill flash.
Wonderful photos!
You do surprisingly warm photos in absolutely usual conditions of a city.
Tell, please, in night photos additional light was used?

Oh boy I LOVE this set. Wow. They are fantastic. 🙂 I love that I can see personality in your pictures!
I love your consistency, more so than anything. I think you’re the first pro that I’ve got that “across-the-board” love of the photos.
That said, my absolute favorite would be the dancing mural with them in front. You can almost hear the music in your head!
Superb set, as always. 🙂
Great shots! Enjoy the engagemnet!
Absolutely gorgeous. I love the “jumping” sequence. So adorable.
I love pictures on railroad lines, I may be biased though since my husband is a conductor for a living.
Emily, I’m really glad to hear it! Thank you both so much!

Charlotte, we could not be happier! You are quite possibily the best decision I have made for our wedding. Thank you from the very bottom of both our hearts. 🙂
Beautiful images… I love train track shots, and the shot inside the train station is cool!
Love em Charlotte! Maria Mitchell took my bridal portraits in the same train station- it’s my favorite place in Denver….the perspective is fantastic.
Btw, trains hardly EVER come on that track….DWF should be more worried about the pics all over the net of the couples kissing with the cars moving behind them!
Steve, we were in much more danger every time I made them stand in the middle of the street. 😉
Great shots. You obviously missed the tread on the DWF where everyone outlined how irresponsible and dangerous it is to shoot on train tracks. Because, like, trains sneak up on you and stuff. LOL.
GORGEOUS couple and Gorgeous photos!!! 🙂 love them!
These are awesome! Love the chemistry between the two that you were able to capture so well. Beautiful.
