In the evening on the day after Thanksgiving, Reston Town Center hosts a big tree lighting celebration. One of the best parts of that event is a performance by Conservatory Ballet in front of the Christmas tree.
I recently bought a new Canon 5D Mark IV camera, and I was curious about its performance in tricky lighting situations. I took photos of the ballet dancers to test out the camera, and was really pleased with its capabilities. These photos were taken at ISO 4000 with my Canon 135mm lens at f2.0.
