Stephen and Amanda
      Garden of the Gods
      November 7, 2009

Over the weekend I got together with Stephen and Amanda for an engagement session in the Garden of the Gods. They are getting married next spring at Lake Tahoe, which should be fabulous. We wandered around the Siamese Twins rock formation, climbing rocks and enjoying the warm weather. Thanks, Amanda and Stephen!

I was psyched when a cowboy rode into this picture! I had no idea he was coming.

I like how the rock formation behind them mirrors their body language.

[…] and Stephen got married Sunday in breathtakingly beautiful Incline Village, Nevada. I loved their engagement session so much that I knew their wedding would be fantastic, but I had no idea just how laid-back and […]

Awesome! What a great setting for an engagement shoot. Beats any urban environment. Great photography. Keep up the good work.

Wow! I love how at ease the couple is and how from the pictures you can truly see their personality! The Rockies jerseys are great! Love your work!

Beautiful Charlotte 🙂 The setting is gorgeous and the engagement photos really capture their personality 🙂

What a gorgeous location! Great session.

I want to do pictures there!

These are absolutely stunning photos! The first photo made my jaw drop.

Wow! Beautiful work…and what amazing landscape you have to work with!

The last picture is so beautiful!

My favorite is number five, and the tongue one is pretty funny.

Just a thought- maybe you could number your pictures, it would make it easier to reference a specific one.

      Lake Tahoe??? Hey Charlotte…

Fawn and I live in Sacramento – and we have access to a wonderful BIG ski lodge house there on North Shore Lake Tahoe. I think it has five bedrooms and four bathrooms – and is a really nice place. I worked a wedding in Napa in exchange for us of it – and it really is WAY too much house for just Fawn and I to enjoy…

How would you and Mike like to be our guest?

I am proposing a barter of sorts… I would LOVE you to shoot some couples portraits of us while there, and in exchange we would happily provide you with a nice space to be when not working the wedding (4 miles into Nevada beyond CA border – 10 min from casinos) AND we would provide all your meals while there for a weekend…

Looks like a great time and a fun couple! Great series of photos with nice mix of wide and tight shots. The cowboy is awesome! I’m looking forward to seeing their wedding photos on your blog too.
