Tamera makes a friend
I can’t believe that I haven’t posted this picture yet! I just found this picture again today, and had to post it for my friend Tamera to see. It was a hilarious moment after a wedding that we shot together last fall. After the wedding ended, she and I sat down to eat some leftover cake. As we were chatting, the hired clown came over and joined us. He was a totally nice guy, but Tamera has a bit of a clown phobia. I just love the look on her face when he decided to sit next to her. Her eyes almost popped out of her head, and she looked at me like, “Holy crap, what do I do now?” He started chatting with us, oblivious to the fact that Tamera was afraid of him. It took all my willpower not to burst out laughing.

Re: Clown at a Wedding?
Clowns in particular aren’t common, but it’s very popular to have kids’ entertainment at weddings. Frequently there is a kids’ room, with art projects and movies. This wedding was awesome, with a clown for balloon animals, and even a face painter. The kids loved it all.
Man, that is one creepy clown! I don’t blame Tamera for being scared of him, lol.

Maybe I am old fashioned or behind the times, but is a clown a common occurrence at a wedding?

Yeah, actually it was a great idea. They had lots of kids at the wedding, and the clown made them all balloon animals. He was a huge hit. 🙂
