My cousin, James Wyatt
April, 2007
My baby cousin has grown up so much in the last few months. You might remember his newborn photos from last September. He is now nine months old, and he’s gotten huge while I wasn’t looking!
James is always smiling and loves to pose for the camera. He’s my cousin Christine’s son, and I just love being back in the DC area where I can spend time with them both.
This one is probably my favorite. I love his big eyes!

Last year, I took a photo of Christine with James in this same chair.
I wish I had thought to do it again to show how much he’s grown! (Photo here)

How perfectly precious is this?
You must have seen so many changes in the last six years! How wonderful. π
Actually I think I used my new 24-70mm f2.8 for all of these pictures. It is a great everyday, multi-purpose lens, but a heavy one!
Re: Love your work
Hi Kate! It’s great to meet a friend of Robin and Vanessa. Thanks so much for recommending me to Erin! I would definitely love to photograph your family sometime, so please stay in touch. π
Re: This is why I sometimes get babies in the brain.
Aw, Puss in Boots! I can’t wait for Shrek 3. π
Your favorite is also mine. That is a fantastic shot!
Oh baby!
They’re all such gorgeous pictures! Very cute models π
oh my! how perfect! its amazing how fast they grow up! our boy is just 8 months now himself, hard to believe that less than one year ago he was still in my tummy!
and the 6 year old, man- thats been the fastest 6 years of my life! π
wonderful captures charolette, you are amazing.
may i ask if you used your 85mm or your 50mm for these shots?
Love your work
We have never met, but I first saw your work on Robin and Vanessa’s wedding in Denver. I just love your work! I recomended you to my best friend, Erin, and I am so happy you will be her photographer this November. I will have to start saving up and planning to have you do our next family portraits. I especially love how great you are at capturing kids. π Keep up the wonderful work.

This is why I sometimes get babies in the brain.
The black and white picture reminds me of this:
And that forehead shot is precious. *gush*
(Thought I’d say hi.)
He is adorable! I love that second shot, the one in b&w. He has such big, imploring, eyes. π
what a cutie! I love the one with the two boys together!
little boys photograph so well, don’t they π
Thanks for the support! I’m feeling marginally better, thank goodness. I still feel really rough, but I’m starting to be able to respond to my emails, which is definitely a sign of improvement. π
soo cute! π
i hope posting this up means that you’re getting better! get well soon.
The big eyes and the pouty bottom lip really make that b&w one special π
