Chrissy and Barry
Denver, Colorado
October 4, 2006
Hooray for fall! I just love taking pictures in October! Autumn is Chrissy’s favorite season, and I’m sure that she and Barry are excited about their upcoming October 28 wedding. I’m so glad we were able to get such beautiful fall colors in their engagement portraits. I can’t wait to see how beautiful their wedding will be!

An unsuccessful piggyback ride!
I love the one of them where her hair is all flying around!

Chrissy and Barry
These pictures are amazing! Thank you, Charlotte for this web site so I can view these pics from North Dakota! Your talent and pleasure in your work shows on each pic! Chrissy and Barry’s LOVE and JOY are obvious in every photo!!~~Barry’s mother, Linda
Such great photos. I love the lighting and the colors.
They are such a cute couple!
great!
it’s antoher world!
My favorite lens for outdoor portraits is a 70-200mm f4L. I also used a 17-40mm f4L for the wide angle shots in this bunch. The last two pictures were taken with a 100mm f2.8 macro.
I use faster lenses for indoor pictures–my 85mm f1.8 is my favorite for indoors, and I also love my 135mm f2.
We’d love that! We have been out of town almost continually for the last 6 weeks (writing from a Wyoming hotel right now!), but now our schedule is going to start to slow down. I’d love to get together! How about next week sometime?
Fantastic as always!
Refresh my memory: what lenses are you using these days?
the swing ones are fun! 🙂
I love this set! Your such an awesome photographer and they looks soo happy 🙂
You never cease to amaze me.
these are SO great, some of my favorites of your engagement portraits – maybe b/c i love the fall. i love love love the way you framed them w/ the red trees and her bracelet just pops, it’s really great.
these are stunning.
i esp love the swingset shot!
so fun.
also, what a handsome couple–that always helps! 😉
How fun! They’re such a beautiful couple, and what amazing colors!
aww they look so happy! i wish them happiness.
you’re a great photographer!
Beside the fact they are a beautiful couple, I really like the fact that those photos show that Denver isn’t as urban as some might think. I used to live in what is now Centennial and would walk the dog from my townhouse along the greenbelt on trails that would back up against homes with considerable sized lots. Very peaceful.
As always, you capture your clients incredibly.
great! they look so happy!
gorgeous!
I love the swing and last two pictures! Straight out of a movie poster! Amazing as always, Charlotte!
They are such a beautiful couple. Wonderful pictures! (as always) 🙂 🙂
