When Jay and I scheduled a photo shoot at Nationals Park for late October, we had no idea the Nationals were going to win the World Series that same week! What an amazing time to be in DC!
In addition to being a huge Nationals fan, Jay is an avid cyclist who loves to explore his DC neighborhood along the Capitol Riverfront. He asked me to take some portraits of him that showed his personality and interests, so we decided on a personal branding photo session.
What are personal branding photos? They are portraits that tell a story about a person’s lifestyle and personality. Unlike traditional headshots, these photos show what makes you unique and interesting. These days, people are using their personal branding photos in a variety of ways, including social media, websites, blogs, marketing, and online dating. These photos help you stand out in the online crowd, and they capture the attention of like-minded people. I love personal branding sessions, and I had a ton of fun with Jay’s. I just love working with people who are joyful and up for anything.
Oh, and Jay looks so much like a young Colin Firth in some of these photos!
Thanks, Jay, for such a fun evening in your amazing neighborhood!
Would you like me to take photos like this for you, too? Are you ready to think beyond the basic headshot? Check out my Personal Branding portfolio, and then contact me to let me know what you have in mind.
