Chris and Mina
St. Louis, Missouri
October 8, 2005
Chris and Mina’s pictures are ready! Their wedding was gorgeous and a lot of fun, and I think their photos reflect that. Congratulations to a very sweet couple! Mina and Chris, thank you so much for asking us to be a part of your day. We really enjoyed it!
Mina has a grace that shows even in her hands.
I love this picture that Mike took. Sometimes other people’s flashes are an asset.
They all look like movie stars in this light.
Here’s another beautiful photo of Mike’s. He’s such an artist!
The camera loves long veils!
It was easy to see how much Mina’s friends mean to her.
Mina and Chris scheduled a few hours in the afternoon for photo shoots. We got some great photos!
Here they are at Chris’s alma mater, Washington University.
Next we headed to Forest Park.
As you can see, they had perfect weather for their wedding day.
Forest Park is such a gem within St. Louis!
Here’s a little photo secret… I really wanted to find some fall foliage for their autumn wedding photos, but unfortunately the leaves were still green throughout the park. Finally I found some late afternoon light shining through a patch of trees, making the leaves look yellow. I zoomed up on those trees, and voila! Autumn.
I could have eaten an entire tier of that cake by myself. It was that good.
I love everyone’s expressions in this one.
It was a beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

These are some of your best shots, Charlotte! Oh, and Mike too! :)))) The composition and perspective on the opening photo is very pleasing, with her bouquet and her face bookending her new husband. The second photo reminds me of an Anne Geddes maternity shot, what with the big round bouquet held to her belly and the veil draped over the flowers. Mike caught a great candid moment in the B&W shot of the two of them! I think you might need to start paying him soon! Hahaha! ๐
The photo of the flower girl and her basket on the stairs is great too! I think if you bring out the rich tones and textures of the stones and steps, and darken them to call more attention to the girl and the basket, the image screams “framed 16×20 print”!
Man, that cake looks like it was hewn from a solid block of chocolate!!! *drooooooool*….
I can’t get past how beautiful these are.
Very well done!
this was the wedding where none of the girls wanted the bouquet?
beautiful beautiful beautiful!!! ๐
my favorite non-mina&tops pic is the one with the flower girl going up the stairs without the basket. ๐
I’m so glad you think so! It’s great to get that kind of feedback from someone who knows them well.
I’m an anywhere photographer!
Actually we’re based out of Colorado Springs, but we’ll travel anywhere the couples want us to be.
You’re a St. Louis wedding photographer? I wish I’d known!
Lovely!
Fabulous work!
man, i love mina & chris. ๐ i think you captured them beautifully, charlotte. ๐
Oh yeah, and I can’t believe I nearly forgot, I would like that cake RIGHT NOW.
looks great!
Gorgeous wedding, gorgeous photos. I love her flowers and the colors of the BM dresses.
Well we do love to travel, so it wouldn’t take any convincing for us to come to Maryland. ๐
Thanks for the kind words!
So beautiful.
I told my boyfriend the other day that if we hit the jackpot before our wedding rolls around, I’m hiring you and Mike for our photographers, travel be damned (I’m in MD). You do such amazing work, Charlotte (and Mike!).
Actually I think we did see them! We saw a couple wedding parties posing for pictures at Forest Park, and I think I remember a large party of bridesmaids in black and red. How cool.
I’d love to see you guys over Christmastime. We don’t know our travel schedule yet, but I’ll keep you posted. ๐
GORGEOUS! I LOVE her flowers … the orange/mango colors are wonderful. You & Mike are a tremendous team! You gonna have anytime to hook up for dinner around the holidays? (We won’t force you take pictures this time … but we’d love to see you!)
And it was a sunny day … we were there too! Did you see a crazy-big wedding party of bridesmaids wearing black with Red roses? That was my cousin’s wedding. They took photos in a park that looks very similar to these
Absolutely–she just sparkled the whole day.
As always, excellent work.
She was such a beautiful bride, your job was made easier by that fact. ๐
