Over the weekend I headed to Scottsville, Virginia, to photograph their annual Twilight Tours, a beloved Halloween tradition in their town. The Twilight Tours are presented by the Scottsville Museum and performed by costumed volunteer actors.
A tour guide leads a group through the streets of this historic town, led by lantern light.
Along the way, each tour group encounters people from Scottsville’s past, who tell the tales of the town through their own perspectives. It’s a beautifully produced tour and a fun and fascinating look into local history. I really enjoyed it!
Here are some of the photos that I took for the museum of this great event.
