Susan and Alex
Evans Chapel
University of Denver
September 5, 2010
Susan and Alex got married on Sunday at DU’s Evans Chapel. I love weddings this time of year, when fall colors are starting to appear, but the weather still feels like summer. They had a lovely, seasonally transitional color scheme of yellows, maroons, and blues. After their ceremony, they celebrated with a great party next door at the School of Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management.
Susan and the ladies got ready upstairs in the HRTM building.

That is a gorgeous location, and you NAILED it!
You really captured some wonderful expressions during the wedding, excellent timing and anticipation in these shots.
Wonderful work,

I love the bow in the bride’s hair
First Photo = Greatly Awesome! 🙂
The location was just lovely. The sky in the photos is beautiful. I loved the sunflowers too!
That’s how it’s done! My goodness, what an incredibly beautiful wedding. That inside of that church is jawdropping.
Oh my! The entire event is amazing, but those reflection and sky shots a so “next level”. Great job.
Love the skies here and that wide angle of them walking out down the aisle is a great moment!
1 Kyle. This whole wedding is just amazing! Great work!!
That image where he is kissing her forehead is so peaceful and beautiful that I feel happy just looking at it!
Goodness that first one is just amazing! This looks like a gorgeous wedding.
That sounds right, thank you! I asked the florist, and they were definitely orchids, but I couldn’t remember the specific type. They were really striking and beautiful.
I’ll answer my own question here after a little research, in case anyone else wondered… they are oncidium orchids. 🙂
Beautiful work as always. I love that yellow flowering branch in with the curly willow – does anyone know what plant/flower that is?
Gorgeous photos! The reflection photos in the pond and the clouds are just SO incredible!
