I’ve been published in a book again! My photo was chosen for the back cover of In His Own Words: Stories from the Extraordinary Life of Robert E. Simon, by Kristina Alcorn.
It’s a book about the history of Reston, Virginia, as told through a series of interviews with the city’s beloved founder, Robert Simon.
My photo appears on the back cover of the book. It’s a photo of the candlelight vigil that took place in Simon’s neighborhood after he died last fall at the age of 101. He lived in the tall apartment building on the left side of the photo, and the community loved him.
