Chris and Mina

Congratulations to Mina and Chris! Mike and I had a wonderful weekend in St. Louis, where they celebrated their wedding under clear blue skies and in the company of loving friends and family.
Their story is so sweet! Chris and Mina were childhood playmates in the Philippines. Chris and his family later moved to the US, where he still lives today. Years later, he and Mina reunited and discovered that they were a perfect match. They have spent their relationship separated across thousands of miles, waiting for the day that they would be together. This wedding marks the end of their separation, and the beginning of a beautiful marriage.
I’ll post more pictures in a few weeks, after I’ve had a chance to sort through them. In the meanwhile, here’s a few preview photos. Mina and Chris, Mike and I hope you are having a wonderful time in Hawaii! Thanks for asking us to be a part of your special day.

Try the Voice-over-IP… I hear that’s really cheap! We’re going to try that for phone calls to Mike’s family in the UK.

I’m thrilled to hear that you think we’ve captured the true Mina and Chris, especially since you know them so well. You must miss your girl Mina now that she is here in the US! I’m sure Chris will take good care of her, though. 🙂

hi! i’m another one of the unfortunate few who wasn’t able to make it to mina and tops’ big day but these pix are just so… wow! it totally captures how i suppose i’d have felt if i were there.

i’ve never seen a photo of mina smile THAT happy before. and i guess it’s cuz she’s maybe never been that happy before. but great job on capturing that ultra goofy-happy look topey has whenever he’s with mina or thinking of mina! hahahahaa.
I had forgotten until Monday that you guys were in town that weekend, too! It would have been fun to meet up with you. I’m glad you had a good time at the wedding! It was a gorgeous weekend.

Gorgeous, as always! We had a great time at my couson’s wedding in ST/ Louis this weekend too … it was probably the biggest one I’ve ever been to!

Wow, those are amazing. You have such a talent for capturing the couples “joy”. The third one down is so adorable. I had to write down that pose to give to my photographer. I wish I could have you as my photographer, they are a lucky couple.

i’m a big mina & topey fan.
your work is absolutely amazing. i can only hope that if a wedding ever happens for me, you’re the first person i’m calling. i only can hope you can tolerate a weekend in indiana someday. of course, i’ve got to find a groom first but there’s no other way i’d want to remember the day without what you create from it. incredible.
Oh yes! I wish all couples had the time for three hours of portraits–we got some great pictures with them! I was having so much fun that I didn’t even notice how tired I was until after it was all over.
How wonderful! How did you deal with the three hours of formal portraits? Your legs and feet okay? 🙂
