Lori and Harris
The Broadmoor
Colorado Springs
September 20, 2008
Lori and Harris got married on Saturday at the beautiful Broadmoor resort in Colorado Springs. You might remember them from their engagement portrait session in the Garden of the Gods last month. Their wedding was gorgeous! I loved the flowers, music, and perfect autumn weather. The Broadmoor is a lovely place for a wedding, and every detail was beautiful.
Congratulations, Lori and Harris!
The Broadmoor
The buttons on the back of Lori’s gown were beautiful.
The ladies got ready in Lori’s fabulous lakeside suite.
I loved this moment when Lori’s niece tried on the bridal high heels!
Meanwhile Harris was getting ready in the lobby.
He found a quiet moment to review the dance steps for their first dance.
Lori and Harris reserved some time before the ceremony for photos around the Broadmoor grounds.
Lori fastened her grandmother’s watch around the base of her bouquet.
Greeting Lori’s nephew
Harris gave the groomsmen monogrammed cufflinks.

I love weddings with lots of kids!
The handfasting
All the guests posed for a photo after the ceremony.
A violinist led the bride and groom and their guests to the reception on the other side of the lake.
The reception took place in the beautiful Main Ballroom.
I loved the stunning floral arrangements by Design Works. The centerpieces had uplighting for extra accent.
I loved the lighting on the floor.

This moment like a road to new life – new family :))
Wonderful Fall color scheme. They have wonderful taste.
You, of course, are always wonderful. <3
Thanks! I didn’t use off-camera lighting at their reception, because the walls and ceiling were white. These photos were all taken with bounced flash.
i love the watch fastened to the bouquet. what a beautiful idea, and so beautifully captured! 🙂
SO fabulous. Photos, wedding, the floor light, everything!
Beautiful work! The details you caught are amazing! Did you do off camera lighting for the reception?
Gorgeous photos, Charlotte! What a beautiful setting. You are right…everything was just perfect!
Thanks! The Broadmoor is such a delight to photograph!
I agree! The flower arrangements and table settings were brilliant.
The floor lighting was awesome! It was tricky to photograph, but we got lots of great shots with it.
Those table settings were magnificent! I look forward to showing the photos to the florists.
Those shots inside of the house are spectacular. I love it when there’s great architecture to work with.
Floral arrangement is a masterpiece by itself and photos are gorgeous but they always are 🙂
