I’ve been meaning to post this wonderful photo that Mike took of Jessica and David’s first dance. It’s one of our favorites from their wedding. I hope that they will look back on this photo in years to come, and remember the feeling of being in each other’s arms on their wedding day.
Yeah, I hand held the flash using an off-camera flash chord and bounced of the ceiling, trying to hit the white part of the ceiling and miss the black/brown beams! It was tricky lighting, so took a bit of experimentation to get it right

Our first wedding this season isn’t for another month and it’s killing me! I am so ready. But we have a really cool bar mitzvah this weekend so I guess that will have to tide me over.

Ok. It must just be that it looks a lot higher in the shot. I’ve certainly bounced of my share of 15′ ceilings.
He bounced it off the ceiling (which was actually pretty low), slightly off the left side.
Do you know how he handled the flash on this one? It looks bounced, but the ceiling looks too high for a bounce. Tupperware? Off camera flash?
