Dudley and Liz
Eagle Springs Golf Club
Wolcott, Colorado
September 12, 2009
On Saturday, Mike and I photographed Liz and Dudley’s destination wedding near Beaver Creek. I loved all the details at their wedding! The exquisite decor had a silver and white color scheme and a reception tent that was pure magic. Eagle Springs Golf Club is a wonderful place for a wedding, with a luxurious lodge, lovely views, and a staff that makes everyone feel welcome. Congratulations, Liz and Dudley!
The entrance to Eagle Springs Golf Club is this beautiful covered bridge.
I love weddings where I have lots of time to photograph details before the guests arrive, especially when the decorations are this gorgeous!
I loved the silver chairs and table linens.
When Liz and her mother arrived, they were a bit emotional about the thunderstorm happening outside.
Watching her daughter get ready
Liz wore her mother’s cathedral length lace veil.
I love including clocks in wedding photos. Their ceremony began at 5:30.
Liz and her father arrived by golf cart.
Their ceremony took place in front of the river.
A huge, slanted tree leaned toward them during the ceremony.
Liz grinned after Dudley put the ring on her finger.
Liz and Dudley showed each other their rings right after the ceremony.
The thunderstorm that passed through earlier left behind incredible blue clouds.
The guests entered the reception tent under a vividly pink sunset.
The reception tent had uplighting that gradually changed colors throughout the night.

First dance
They cheered for the band at the end of their first dance.
We took a photo of all the alumni of Dudley’s alma mater, the University of Virginia. So of course I had to jump into one of the pictures! (That’s me on the right, class of ’96 and ’01)
They brought in a ten-piece band from Nashville, and they were fantastic!

Beautiful wedding, I loved the layout on the tables and the pictures with the bridesmaids always remind me of my own wedding! Wouldn’t have thought of photos on a golf course, but the green is a great background for the white of the bride’s gown.
WOW! What a spectacular setting. The course looks great and the tent was beautiful. You have a keen eye for your pictures. Your clients must love you. I am sure that the couple will remember this wedding and the setting using your prints to remind them.
Great job.
Great shots! Your photos made a full page spread in the Nashville social monthly magazine NFocus. I’d be happy to send you a copy. Just email me. Nice work!
WOW! truley amazing photos and flowers! What an amazing day. I’m sure the couple was so pleased with the results!!
Re: I swear to all that is holy…
LOL – I’ve been trying to figure out what to sell in order to be able to have her take pictures of my firstborn.
Well, I’ve run out of nice things to say about your pictures. I’ll be back when they invent more words for amazing. 😉
I did love having our own wedding in England. I love Colorado, but English weddings are pretty fabulous, too. 🙂
Re: I swear to all that is holy…
Tina, LOL. You know I’d love to be there for you and Fawn! I even have some packages that are cheaper than firstborns.
Re: I swear to all that is holy…
hehe…I totally understand what you mean. I keep telling Charlotte that when (if) I ever get married, I will pay whatever is necessary in order to have her come to Canada and shoot my wedding.
I am itching to get married in Colorado, but unfortunately, my fiance is set on having the wedding at home, here in England, so all our family & friends can be there.
I think Colorado is the most beautiful place on Earth and your photos really help express that.

Mine too!
I’m absolutely stunned. What a gorgeous wedding, and perfect photos.
Oh my god – pink sunset shot literally took my breath away! I’ve got goosebumps which happens rarely with photos (usually with music).
Amazing photos.

Amazing photos.
They’re all beautiful, but I especially love the last shot because you’ve got people laughing the sparklers and the bride waving goodbye from inside the car all in one frame! I also love the shot of the table in the soft colored light with the cake very soft in the background. nice!
I swear to all that is holy…
I am considering selling my firstborn to have you shoot mine and Fawn’s wedding.
Stunning… as always!
Tina
what beautiful photos!
I especially love the colours of the storm clouds and how vivid the green is. Liz and Dudley just seem to pop right out of the picture! 🙂
