Carefree, Arizona
January 13, 2008
I’m spending this week outside Phoenix, at the annual convention of the Digital Wedding Forum. I look forward to this convention every year, because it’s the only time that I get to see many of my photographer friends from around the world. We learn new techniques in art, technology, and business, and check out the latest products in our industry. This year we have the added benefit of gorgeous desert scenery all around. I can’t stop smiling this week.
Once again, I took all these photos with my Canon G10 point-and-shoot camera. I like to travel light.
I know I saw this too late, our internet went out. I know I will catch up with you someday when you aren’t swamped and I’m not swamped.
Have a safe trip home to your happy family!
I’d love to see you, too, but my schedule has been completely full all week with this convention. I’m flying home this afternoon, and I don’t have a car. Can you come to Carefree for lunch, by any chance?
I love the last shot =)
I love the last shot =)
I’ve been to Carefree … these are Gorgeous!
Thank you for sharing these. The desert..Phoenix..is where I grew up. Home.
Oh my goodness. I really wish I was there. Then again, this week has been non-stop inquiries and consults, which is exactly what we needed! Trade-offs, right?
Gorgeous photos! I can’t wait to go through AZ on my way to California later this year. It’s been way too long since I’ve been!
I love love love the third from the bottom. I’m a sucker for awesome orderly textures. 🙂
Lovely play of light & shadow. I am thinking about getting a decent Canon p&s, but I am not sure if I want to drop the big bucks for the G10. We’ll see…it sure is a nice camera!
The first one is perfection!
I would love to see you if I could but I bet your schedule is full. We live in Gilbert AZ which is 30 minutes from downtown Phoenix.
Is your schedule packed?
