On Tuesday, I met with Bree and Riley at Castlewood Canyon for their engagement portraits. They are getting married this summer in Colorado Springs. I had so much fun watching the two of them interact! They are playful and silly with each other, and it’s fun to see them make each other laugh. We wandered around the canyon for a while that evening, and they were up for anything I suggested. Bree was even climbing rocks in her heels!

Just out of curiousity – do you shoot RAW?
This may be a dumb question but what gives it the dark edges in the close ups?

I love the sixth one – it feels very natural, as if you just walked around the corner and saw a sweet couple in the path. However, I’m not as big a fan of the next one – it looks like they weren’t quite ready for the picture, and I think their expressions are better in many of the other pictures.
I want to go there!

As usual, awesome work. These look a little warmer than previous shoots, which is great! Such a huge fan of your ‘work’ (I say work, you seem to enjoy it far too much for it to be work!), your images have a certain clarity and depth I’ve never been able to get in mine. Great post 🙂
