Over the last few weeks, I’ve loved working with Compass real estate agent Mike Matese on his brand photography. Mike is a charismatic and compassionate person who instantly feels like a long-time friend, so it’s easy to see why he is known for exceptional customer service. He has been in real estate for 30 years, with an extensive knowledge of the local market and a reputation as one of the best real estate agents in the DC area.
Mike is an agent with Compass, a real estate brokerage that is savvy to the importance of lifestyle photography in modern marketing. Compass agents understand that potential clients want to choose agents with appealing personalities and skills. A standard agent headshot doesn’t reveal whether a client would connect with them during a process as significant as home buying and selling. Branding photography helps agents stand out in a crowd and appeal to like-minded clients.
Mike asked me to photograph him in a variety of settings that reveal different sides of his personality. We’ve had two photo sessions so far: a casual stroll with his dog in a park in Reston, and a more formal evening at the Wharf in DC. We have more adventures lined up for future photo sessions together, so stay tuned. Mike is a fun and fascinating person and I look forward to more!
