Laura and Rich

      June 14, 2008

Laura and Rich got married yesterday at the Antlers Hilton in downtown Colorado Springs. They decided to meet before the ceremony to take photos in the Garden of the Gods. We chose a beautiful setting for the two of them to see each other for the first time, which was a wonderful moment. Then we took lots of great photos in the park before heading to the Hilton for the ceremony and reception.

My friend Autumn Burke photographed this wedding with me, which was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to see her photos!

When Laura stepped out of her room, this hotel employee was thrilled by how pretty she looked!

On Father’s Day weekend it was great to see Laura’s close relationship with her dad.

Laura’s father escorted her to see Rich for the first time that day.

I loved Rich’s reaction as Laura walked down the aisle.

He sniffled throughout the ceremony. So sweet.

      Immediately after the ceremony

They had a mashed potato bar at their reception; the potatoes were served in martini glasses.

Laura’s mother as to me so beautiful like Meril Strip.

      Simply Fabulous!

How cool… I can’t wait to see what your Antlers wedding will be like!

Too bad that you can’t stay at the Antlers again! But Colorado is so cool that you can sleep anywhere and just spend as much time as possible outside. 😉

Laura was so awesome with the dress twirling! She was total diva when I asked her to do that.

I can’t help but tear up when I see a groom cry. What a wonderful thing to witness.

I’m totally craving mashed potatoes right now.

Thanks! That’s one of my favorites, too! You wouldn’t believe that I took it under a road overpass.

My goat cheese mashed potatoes were divine!

I try never to take Colorado for granted!

I’m looking forward to it, whenever the time is right!

I’m glad to hear it! I definitely want each couple’s story to shine. 🙂

Fabulous! As always, you did a wonderful job. I’m inspired… I am shooting a wedding there next weekend and now I can’t wait! Tamera

This made me miss COS hella bad… I stayed in the Antlers Hilton when I was TDY last year, and am going back this year next month! Have to stay in the Doubletree though since Antlers was way over per diem. 😀

Charlotte you always capture such amazing moments, breathtaking. I love the first photo and the last photo most, and of course, the one with Rich’s reaction as Laura walked down the aisle. Amazing!

LOVE the picture of the rings.

Also love the mashed potato bar! I’m totally doing that when I get married.

      I LOVE MASHED POTATO BARS!

When my husband and I were going to 5-8 weddings per summer a couple of years back (I KNOW! AS GUESTS!) I always looked forward to receptions at one particular venue because I KNEW there would be a MP bar. LOL

They’re all gorgeous – as usual – but I am loving the new take on the ring photo at the bottom. That is too awesome!

Awesome shots. I love the locations you shoot your weddings at!

the last shot is magnificent! and they’re beautiful as always. I wonder if I should book you now! *sigh* if only we were back in the state. the day will come!
