I love photographing fun people! If you’re fun, call me. Thanks.

Last Thursday I had a family portrait session with the Canales family in Castle Rock. We started with some relaxed group portraits at their house and then at Rock Park. Then Ashley suggested that we head to “the cereal bowl.” I had no idea what she meant by that, but I thought, “Hey, that sounds weird and fun. Count me in.” They took me to a little park right next to the interstate, where there were strange sculptures that included frightened bowling pins and an upturned bowl of Fruit Loops. Of course I loved it there! The kids did, too.

      whoops! that was me 🙂

Oh right! I talked about the cereal bowl, but then didn’t post any of those photos. Here are a couple:

Yes Indeed, thats my family. I am 32 and have a 13 year old daughter, 7 yrnold son and 4 yr old girlie. Hah, we are unusual!!

Excellent photos. They capture the fun feeling of the whole photo shoot! I love it!

Kids with mohawks RULE! These are great!

definitely a fun & beautiful family!

uh, share. i’m up too late to spell correctly.

      fun shots!
pretty young ladies, i think the youger girl’s freckles match her firecracker shirt.

shrare this upside down cereal bowl thing……..

beautiful portraits! that looks like such a quirky and fun place.

      Aha, they’re grandchildren!

There just seemed to be an odd jump in ages. Granted, I know families that have that phenomenon– my husband has two half-siblings that are 9 and 5– but this didn’t seem to be the case.

I would totally love to! 😀

I don’t believe so, why do you ask?

This group consisted of Julie and Ray, their two sons, their daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.

I don’t know if any of them are adopted. This family was three generations: Julie and Ray, with their two sons, daughter-in-law, and three grandchildren.

Are some of these kids adopted?

The redhead in the blue shirt is gorgeous.

Awesome shots! That place looks interesting and fun, I haven’t heard of it until now.

Are some of them foster kids?

I’m in love with these people! And what a great location for pictures!

I think the father has a great face!

P.S. That teenage girl (in the closeup portrait) is such a beauty. And, my youngest daughter has that Firecracker t-shirt. 🙂

These are so great! Pleeeeease come to San Francisco soon and photograph my family!
