Michael

This is Michael, whom I met through the organization Compassion for Kids. Mike recently graduated from high school, although he spent much of his senior year undergoing cancer treatment. In a little over a week, he’ll have major surgery to remove a tumor in his lung. Today several of Mike’s friends and family got together for a surprise picnic to show their support for him. His mother invited me to come along to take photographs. It’s an honor for me to be able to provide these photographs for his family.

You’re the best, Lisa. Thanks, as always!

Thanks! I really liked those, too.

He really does have a Cage-esque look!

I’m so happy to hear that your nephew is doing well. That must have been a difficult time for the whole family.

That’s very kind of you, thanks.

I know! I actually stopped mid-picture to say, “wow, you are a good looking group!”

he will definitely be in my prayers!!

As always … amazing work, my friend.

      Loved the catchlights in downing18.jpg!

He’s very handsome! He has beautiful eyes and that dreamy Nicholas Cage look. Wonderful, Charlotte!

These are great pictures! It looks like everyone had a good time.

I hope his surgery is successful!
You got some great shots, yet again. Looks like it was fun!!

I will definitely be keeping him in my thoughts.

My nephew was diagnosed with leukemia when he was 2 years old, and is now a rather grown-up 5 year old (with no signs of cancer!).

Hopefully Mike will have the same success, and be strong in his continued fight; it looks like he has a wonderful family and group of friends by his side, and most times, that’s the most important thing.

What a nice looking young man. My prayers and positive thoughts are with him and his family.

Well he certainly has no shortage of beautiful women in his life!
