Leila and Luke have a big week coming up: next week they graduate from medical school and get married! To celebrate these milestones, they met me last night for a portrait session in Memorial Park. We walked around Prospect Lake as the sun set over the mountains. I love how these photos showcase the landscape of their Colorado home as they prepare to move out of state for their medical residencies. Congratulations, Leila and Luke! I can’t wait until the wedding next week!
There were so many gnats out last night! This one makes me laugh.
The sun began to set, and cast a warm glow everywhere.

Thanks! I use lots of lenses actually. Most of these photos were taken with the Canon 70-200 f2.8 and the Canon 16-35mm f2.8.

I saw you taking the photos at the lake! I was roller skating with my friend (yes, we are Derby Dames). Didn’t want to interrupt you anymore than we did by flying through your shots, so I didn’t say anything! These are beautiful, I love this park.

i see this all the time and it’s really annoying… people asking about the lens and camera when it’s the photographer who makes the photos!
