Brad and Mike
Nichols Reservoir, Colorado

Mike and I spent Saturday with friends at lakes near Woodland Park. We had a picnic at Rampart Reservoir, and then we hiked down to Nichols Reservoir. Mike and Brad did some fishing while the rest of us lounged by the lake and played with the dogs. I love living here in Colorado!

It was naptime for Isaac…
… but first he wanted to learn about fishing.

I took Ally to the other side of the lake for some ball-fetching.
Those blue storm clouds were great to look at, but they meant that we got soaked shortly thereafter.
I know that this is a face that only a mother could love, but boy do I love it.
She’s just so cute when wet!
Here Betty is kicking a pine cone for Idgi to fetch.
Mike didn’t catch much.

I love pictures of Ally so much, I’m an extremely avid dog lover. Idgi is always fun to see too! Border Collies are so smart. 🙂
