Congratulations! I loved that picture of Brett and Amanda. (I love the other picture, too, I just don’t remember seeing it before.)
woot! Way to go, Char! Well deserverd … perhaps even a little ripped off. I think you’re the best. Though i am, admittedly, biased.
sorry, placing twice! pardon me
Congratulations, Charlotte. I hope I can provide you with some First place photographs next year.
Rock on. I need to get my website up and join that site. You get a lot of business from it?
Congrats to you!!!
I really love the second photo. It looks like it is out of a fairy tale.
Congratulations!
You are a golden goddess of photography! I am so happy for you!
Great Job Charlotte! You make all your wedding pictures look absolutely dreamy

That is an amazing showing, and well-deserved. The WPJA pages were what inspired me to try wedding photography in the first place.

Congratulations Charlotte! That is such a great accomplishment, and honor. You deserved to win too, you’re a great photographer.
Whoa, congrats Charlotte! Terrific job!!!
I knew you when!
I knew the day would come when I would pull out my photos of your FIRST photo show and be proud to say “I knew her when”! I am so proud of you; your ability, your creativity, your poise, your verve, and your audacity to follow your dream! Kudos to you, Char!
Love you much,
Jen
congratulations!!
That second one is georgous. Not too many brides (I’m guessing) would have been willing to sit down in the grass in their gown.
Actually I had nothing to do with her sitting down in the grass. That moment occurred immediately after their ceremony ended–they hurried around a corner for a private minute together in their first moments as husband and wife. She was so overwhelmed with emotion that she just collapsed into the grass and started crying. He squatted down next to her to comfort her. I stood far away, with a long lens and tears in my eyes.
I wish you did, too.
I hope your wedding was wonderful.
lol… Well I need something to aim for in the future.
Oooh I do hope so!
Actually, no, I don’t get nearly as much business from it as I had hoped. Maybe a blue medallion next to my name will help.
The funny thing is that the judges said that the second photo looked like it was out of a romance novel. I was going to be a little offended, but they went on to explain, “That’s a good thing.” Um, ok.
Thanks! That’s one of my favorites, too.
Thanks! It really is an honor to be included among all those great images.
That one brings tears to my eyes, too. I was crying when I took it.
Re: I knew you when!
Aw, thanks so much, Jen! I remember when you took a picture of me at that first exhibit, and said someday I’ll make it big. Thanks for believing in me.
I miss you!
aw, thank you so much!
I should be spending Christmas with Catherine’s parents. When would be the best time to visit the Washington Monument?
Congratulations! Great job!
