My cat, Janie, seems to be recovering well from a cat attack. Some vicious neighborhood cat chewed up three of her legs in a fight a couple nights ago. We spent most of yesterday and the night before at the vet, getting her wounds and infection treated. Today I’m happy to say that she has come out from her hiding place in the closet, and found a sunny place outside to nap. She seems to be feeling much better now.
Her two hind legs are shaved where she was bitten. Her left arm is shaved, too, but her rolls of flesh are concealing it. Janie is a cat of great ampleness.

She is a cat of fortitude, of substance. Kind of like my cat Ben who I lovingly call Pork Chop.
Of course, they are never *fat*. Ever.

That’s how our cat became an indoor cat, too many lost fights that required such trips to the vet.

They aren’t fat, they’re just cuddly and squishy.
I know, it’s sad, isn’t it. Hopefully that little bugger won’t come back into our yard. Thank goodness Janie is doing ok today!
Highly doubtful! Janie is 14 pounds of pure fluff. She’s a marshmallow.

How sad–what a shame that it had to come to that. It’s scary when those fights happen, though!

My vet called my calico “a round 12 pounds.” ..and then admitted that his cat was pushing 17lbs…
